How much should I sharpen?

Start with values between 0.5-2.0. Values below 1.0 slightly soften, while values above 1.0 sharpen. Excessive sharpening (>3.0) can introduce artifacts.

Can sharpening fix blurry video?

Sharpening can improve slightly soft video but cannot fix severely out-of-focus footage. It works best on video that's already reasonably sharp.
