How accurate is this metronome?

The metronome runs locally in your browser using the Web Audio API for sample-accurate clicks. For best results keep this tab focused while practicing.

Can I change subdivisions?

Yes. Choose the number of subdivisions (e.g. 2 for eighth notes or 3 for triplets) to hear evenly spaced pulses between each beat.

Does the metronome accent the downbeat?

Enable “Accent first beat” to hear a brighter click on beat one of every measure. Toggle it off for an even pulse throughout.
